Mexico City, one of the world's largest metropolitan areas, extends through the Valley of Mexico. Originally the Aztec city of Tenochtitlan, the city was built on the old Texcoco Lake. The arrival of the Spaniards saw the demolition of most structures. However, you can still find some centennial channels and ruins.

Located in the center-east of Mexico, the city of Puebla, also known as Puebla de los Ángeles, serves as the largest capital and city of the homonym state in Puebla. Called the "city of Los Angeles", this prominent Spanish colonial city is full of an elegant architecture. Puebla is famous for its culinary history, its prosperous artistic scene and its nightlife and its impressive ceramic, namely, the famous Talavera tiles. Visit the well -preserved historical center of the city, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, home of numerous convents, a spectacular cathedral and more than seventy churches, join a workshop for paint of tiles and tasty some of the famous Mexican dishes of Puebla.

Known as a microcosm of the best of Mexico, Oaxaca is a state of the south known for its various natural landscapes, its exquisite architecture, its lively culture and its delicious cuisine. The picos of the mountains, the cannons, the virgin beaches and the tropical jungles have shaped their topography, creating a fertile platform for a rich biodiversity: the state has 50% of all species of plants and animals in Mexico.

Located on the Pacific coast of Mexico, the port city of Puerto Escondido is a popular holiday destination in the state of Oaxaca. «Surfea» on this paradisiacal beach with t -shirts knotted, surf boards and cabins on the beach. This surf mecca is known for its spectacular extensions of golden sand beach, its perfect waves and its magnificent surrounding natural landscapes. Today we will visit the Historic Center of Mexico City, Madero Pedestrian Street where the Palace of Fine Arts, the Latin Tower, the House of the Tiles, the house of Iturbide, El Zócalo, we will see from outside the National Palace and the City Council, the main temple and the models that explain what the city was before the arrival of the Spaniards. We will take a tour of the main street of the reform and see the monuments of the reform.

Then, we will continue our return to the origins of Mesoamerica on a tour of the National Museum of Anthropology. We will follow the footprints of the pre -Hispanic civilizations and discover reconstructions of tombs and Aztec temples and Maya and archaeological pieces of incalculable value of the Zapotec, Toltecs, Teotihuacanos and Mexica. At the end of the tour, we will return to our hotel.

Today we will go to the famous Xochimilco channels, the last remains of the extensive transport system that the Aztecs created. We will visit the flower market and then give a quiet and spectacular trip through these old houses on a pre Colombino ship while we learn much more about its history and culture: we will go aboard a trajinera, a small traditional boat adorned with flowers, to navigate the artificial channels and islands that have been declared a World Heritage by UNESCO. During the journey we can enjoy a live show by the traditional "mariachis".

We will start the day very early to start our balloon walk through Teotihuacán, we will see from the air the main monuments of the archaeological team. While we observe the legacy of the ancient settlers of Mexico we will with more sharpness the colossal size of this archaeological enclave, without a doubt one of the most relevant in the country. At the end of the walk, we will provide a glass of sparkling wine and receive a flight certificate to prove this magnificent experience. Before finishing our trip through the charming Mexico City we will dedicate this last day to explore the south of the city. After breakfast we will leave in the direction of San Ángel, formerly it was a rural village away from the city, today it is a charming neighborhood of cobbled streets and colonial houses covered with Buganvillas. We will continue to the Coyoacán neighborhood, also known as its cobbled streets and its remarkable colonial architecture. In this place we will devote a good part of the day since we will visit the Casa Museo de Frida Kahlo and we will have time to take lunch.

At the end, we will return to the hotel to rest our last night before saying goodbye to Mexico City.

Today we will go on the way to Puebla, we will cross the mountains on the road that offers the most impressive views of the Iztaccíhuatl and Popocatepetl volcanoes. We will make a stop in Cholula, one of the oldest cities in America. We will travel the downtown area of ​​the city and reach its highest point, where the Church of Our Lady of Remedies is also built. Next, we will continue with our tour until we reach Puebla, popularly known as the city of Los Angeles, since it is said that it was created by Los Angeles for the enjoyment of mortals.

Today we will embark on an exciting adventure towards the iconic Iztaccíhuatl and Popocatépetl volcanoes. We will visit the “Itza-Popo” National Park. While we are going through a landscape adorned with pines, alpine trails and vast grass extensions, the volcanic sand terrain under our feet tells a story of the geological history of the region. We will witness the transformative nature of the environment as we ascend to greater altitudes, experiencing the unique beauty of volcanic landscapes. In our way we will have panoramic views of the Iztaccíhuatl, and on our way back, of Popocatepetl. The path culminates in an impressive viewpoint that offers panoramic views of both volcanoes.

This morning after breakfast we will go to the north to Teotitlán del Valle, a colorful place famous for the beauty of the textile products that are made there. Located in half an hour from Oaxaca, it is a town full of wet customs preserved over time. You can observe artisans by making traditional wool products, such as jackets, bags, upholstery, rugs and dresses. All of them decorated with natural dyes and mixing Zapotec and Mixtec designs with works by contemporary painters.

Then, we will discover what makes Oaxaca gastronomy so recognized. We will start with a visit to a local market to buy the freshest ingredients. We will immerse ourselves in the culinary and cultural wealth of Oaxaca through this exciting Zapotec cuisine class in the heart of a small town on the outskirts of the city. This unique gastronomic experience will take us to a trip of ancestral flavors, traditions and techniques that have been transmitted from generation to generation by the vibrant Zapotec community. We will be guided by local expert instructors that come from families with a long tradition in Zapotec cuisine. The chef will also explain the benefits of each of the representative ingredients of the region.

We will leave Oaxaca to the southeast and reach one of the most impressive places in Mexico: the frozen waterfalls of boil the water. Located in the town of San Isidro de Roaguía, we will enjoy the impressive views offered by these two natural waterfalls: one at 30 meters high and the other to 12 meters.

Surrounded by great vegetation, this natural wonder formed more than 2,500 years ago due to calcium carbonate saturation in the water that falls from the upper cliffs.
