Holbox is a small friendly island that is part of the exquisite Natural Reserve of Yum Balam of Mexico. This little -known and remarkably virgin destination sees very few foreign visitors and has only been found on the tourist map due to its excellent possibilities for observing birds and marine life. Visitors can enjoy relaxing on pristine white sand beaches, exploring sand streets surrounded by colorful Caribbean buildings, and incredible bird observation with more than 50 species of birds residing in the area, including large flocks of pelicans, flamingos, herons, pink teaspoons and many more. Ballena sharks and sea turtles are also frequently seen in the waters surrounding this idyllic small island.

Mérida, the capital of the Mexican province of Yucatán, is located near the Gulf of Mexico and the captivating magical peoples (magical peoples). The town has several facilities, including some basic stores, restaurants, transport services, modest hotels and even a paved track. The main attraction is undoubtedly the ruins of Xpujil, built in the style of the BEC River and that date back to 400 B.C. This small site is at a short distance from the most important ruins of Becán and is better known for its structure of three towers in the main square.

On the edge of Lake Bacalar, near the border with Belize, in southeastern Mexico, the city of Bacalar has impressive waters, captivating history and delicious food. Also known as the "Lake of the Seven Colors" for its turquoise and blue currents, the Bacalar Lake is the central point for many visitors who enjoy swimming in their quiet and shallow coves and try the water sports table it offers. A unique heritage offers a large number of historical sites to explore nearby, especially the collection of Mayan archaeological ruins in Kohunlich, Becan, Chicanna, Dzibanche and Chacchoben. Discover true stories of pirates in the Piracy or Wonder Museum with the strong fort of San Felipe of the 18th century. Cabo Catoche belongs to the continental territory of Holbox Island and marks the continental division between the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea, as well as the southwest limit of the Yucatan Canal. This impressive paradise has sandy beaches and a spectacular flora and fauna. During the tour, we will enjoy various activities, such as Dolphins, Snorcell and Collection of shells and snails. Optional Tour: We will enjoy a magical experience that will make our night one of our best memories. Bioluminescence is the production of a dim light by certain organisms, which becomes highly visible in the dark. Due to the large number of phytoplankton species on Holbox Island, a light effect is created, being one of the few places where this phenomenon occurs. They will pick us up at our hotel on Tour Day, approximately 15 to 10 minutes before the activity begins. After arriving at the area where the experience will take place, we will have an hour to interact with the sea, followed by the return to our hotel. Note: It is important to keep in mind that the exact time of the tour will be confirmed the day before, since it depends on the natural conditions to be carried out. In the morning, after enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will be transferred in a golf cart to the port of Holbox, where we will board the Ferry back to Chiquilá, where a private transport will be waiting for us to take us to Chichen Itzá. Upon reaching the site, we will meet our guide.

Today, we will discover one of the largest and most important cities of the old Mayan civilization: Chichén Itzá. We will take a guided tour of this wonder of the modern world and learn about its history and its impressive structures. We will visit the ball court, the Temple of the Warriors, the imposing Kukulkán pyramid (the castle) and the wall of the skulls. Each of these monuments will offer us fascinating perspectives on Mayan culture and architecture, leaving us amazed by its greatness and legacy.

As we continue to explore Chichén Itzá, we will visit other significant structures, such as the ossuary, a pyramid that houses a cave inside, and the El Caracol Observatory. While we admire this unique round structure, we will discover the advanced astronomical knowledge that the Maya possessed in their time. These architectural wonders are not only visually impressive, but also reveal the deep connection of the Maya with the cosmos and their ability to study the stars.

In the morning, after enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will be transferred in a golf cart to the port of Holbox, where we will board the Ferry back to Chiquilá, where a private transport will be waiting for us to take us to Chichen Itzá. Upon reaching the site, we will meet our guide.

At the end of our tour, we will go to Cenote IK Kil, an impressive natural sink surrounded by lush vegetation. There, we will enjoy a refreshing bath in its crystalline waters, allowing us to relax and rest. After this revitalizing experience, we will taste a delicious lunch, tasting the local cuisine in a beautiful environment. This will be the perfect way to conclude a day full of exploration. Today we will travel from Mérida to Campeche (184 km, 2 hours). We will make an exciting stop along the way to explore the old Mayan ruins of Uxmal. While we travel this impressive archaeological site, we will discover its impressive architecture, including the fortune teller and the quadrangle of the nuns. This place has great cultural importance, since it is the most representative settlement of the architecture of the Puuc region.

Uxmal presents a more pure Mayan style than Chichén Itzá. Here water, earth, sun and venus were worshiped, which is present in the orientation and decoration of its structures. We will see their facades decorated with Chaac masks, the deity of the rain, relief work, panels with hieroglyphs and high crest. It is the perfect time to discover the charms of Bacalar, such as the blue cenote or the fort of San Felipe, or take a boat ride through the seven colors Lagoon.

Optional Tour: Today we will explore the crystalline waters of the Bacalar Lagoon. We will marvel at the unique blue tones of this lagoon while visiting the cocalitos cenote to closely admire the stromatolites, remains of the oldest life forms of the earth. During the tour, we will also visit the cenote of the witches, where we can appreciate the distinctive color changes of the lagoon. We will navigate through the Esmeralda Cenote, the largest in the lagoon, and we will pass through the island of the birds, home of various species. Our trip will take us to the Pirates Canal, a route that connected with Chetumal Bay and was used by pirates in the seventeenth century. Our first stop will be on the archaeological site of Tulum, the only Mayan city located near the Caribbean coast. Here, we will learn even more about the incredible Mayan civilization and we will have the opportunity to climb to the highest Mayan pyramid in Mexico, which rises to 42 meters.

To conclude the day, we will go to the impressive chikin-ha cenote, where we will refresh ourselves in its crystalline waters surrounded by magnificent stalactites and stalagmites. At the end of the day, we will be transferred to our hotel in Playa del Carmen.
