Mexico City, one of the world's largest metropolitan areas, extends through the Valley of Mexico. Originally the Aztec city of Tenochtitlan, the city was built on the old Texcoco Lake. The arrival of the Spaniards saw the demolition of most structures. However, you can still find some centennial channels and ruins. Go to the Historic Center to see a large number of architectural and cultural attractions, such as the Plaza de la Constitución, the National Palace, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Templo Mayor, the Palace of Fine Arts and the picturesque Central Park of La Alameda. The main places of interest such as Chapultepec Castle, the Museum of Modern Art and the National Museum of Anthropology are located in the Chapultepec Park.
Located in the northwest of the Mexican State of Sinaloa, the sunny city of El Fuerte rests on the eastern shores of the Fuerte River. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful views of the river while enjoying local cuisine and listen to traditional Mexican music. This lovely city offers visitors the opportunity to know the indigenous culture exploring the variety of cultural attractions, such as the Miguel Ángel Morales Ibarra Community Museum; El Tehuoco, one of the seven ceremonial centers; and the Church of Dolores, the ruins of an ancient Jesuit temple.
Located in the heart of the Sierra Tarahumara in Chihuahua, surrounded by mountains and fertile valleys, just a few minutes from the Urique Canyon the deepest of North America. The Mission Hotel is within an old vineyard and on one side is the historic Mission Church, with its original altar dates from the mid -1700 and that is still intact. The town was founded in 1694 by Jesuit missionaries.
Posada Barrancas, a small train stop on the hillside of a hill located along the Chepe route, is a charming village inside the small city of Areponapuchi, in the magnificent Copper Canyon in Mexico. The outstanding places include a wonderful memories store and a delicious food court where visitors can savor 'gorditas', 'burritos' and 'freshly made' chiles made.
Creel is a town in the Sierra Tarahumara of the Mexican state of Chihuahua. With spectacular forests, caves, cliffs, lakes and rivers, the city offers a paradise for lovers of outdoor activities and is also the favorite route for the copper canyon, which offers a variety of attractions and activities along the way. Walk through the pine forests, enjoy the views of the majestic waterfalls of Sierra Tarahumara and discover the spectacular rock formations of the Monje Valley or "Valley of the Monks" (known as a magnificent scenario for the photograph of nature).
The state capital of the Mexican northwest of the same name, Chihuahua, is a prosperous city that has an extraordinary historical wealth and an extraordinary nature to explore in the vicinity. The city housed numerous important figures in the country's political history and is decorated with spectacular heritage buildings.

Today we will visit the Historic Center of Mexico City, Madero Pedestrian Street where the Palace of Fine Arts, the Latin Tower, the House of the Tiles, the house of Iturbide, El Zócalo, we will see from outside the National Palace and the City Council, the main temple and the models that explain what the city was before the arrival of the Spaniards. We will take a tour of the main street of the reform and see the monuments of the reform.
We will have time to take lunch, and then we will visit the Museum of Anthropology, one of the most emblematic museums in Latin America and an essential stop to understand the history and culture of the pre -Columbian civilizations of Mexico. Known for its impressive modern architecture and its emblematic concrete umbrella, this museum houses 23 exhibition rooms with invaluable collections, including the stone of the sun, a replica of the tomb of the Mayan ruling Pakal and artifacts of Mexican, Maya, Toltec and Olmeca cultures, among others.

In the morning we will be collected again by the driver who will take us to the International Airport of Mexico City, where we will take a national flight in the direction of Los Mochis. Upon our arrival at Los Mochis International Airport we will be transferred to the Magic Town of El Fuerte. The Fort is a small colonial town founded in 1564 by Francisco de Ibarra. In the town the conquerors built a fort in the highest part of the territory to protect themselves from the natives, hence the name. The fortress of El Fuerte is located just in front of the beautiful hotel Posada del Hidalgo.

The Chepe train is the only long -distance passenger train in regular operation that exists in Mexico. In an impressive journey, it crosses one of the most steep mountains in Mexico, hugging the edge of mountains and crossing deep cane and ravines on their bridges. We will venture in the Sierra Tarahumara and we will know one of the most impressive natural wonders in Mexico and the world, the copper ravines.
We will go from El Fuerte to the Bahuichivo station where a vehicle that will take us to the town of Cerocahui will be waiting for us.

We will deliver the room, and we will leave land towards our following destination: Hotel El Mirador. On the route we will tour the Galician hill to admire the Urique Canyon, the highest of the copper ravines with an altitude of 2,370 meters above sea level. The Urique cannon has a visible height of more than 1,879 meters. It is so high that in the lowest part there is a tropical climate and in the highest a cold and wooded climate. In the background is the town of Urique that is a Tarahumara settlement between the Urique Canyon and the Urique River. From the Galician hill you can see the immensity as any other part of the copper ravines. An experience that will leave us breathless, a scenario that seems out of a fantastic story or a painting. We will see the important natural grandiosity of the copper ravines and the Chihuahuan landscape.
The Mirador Hotel is undoubtedly the best hotel on the Chepe train tour and has one of the most famous views of the copper ravines. We can admire from its private terraces the indescribable beauty of the area. It is located on the edge of the ravine, in one of the highest areas of the cannons. Its unique architecture gives the impression of being suspended in the ravine, and has a very particular structure, where each room has a unique, special and magnificent view.
In the afternoon we will make a walk along the edge of the ravine, passing from the outside of the Tarahumara cave to see the geological formations of the cannon.

In the morning we will visit the famous Park Aventura Barrancas del Cobre. In the park there are many viewpoints from which you can contemplate the magnificence of the copper ravines. Optionally we can enjoy great tourist attractions such as cable car or the largest zip line with which we can fly over the copper ravines at a speed of more than 90 km/h. A unique experience in the ideal life for emotions lovers. We will have an impressive view from the blown stone viewpoint where one of the deepest cataracts in Mexico is located. We can also visit the Divisadero market. Where there are the most delicious and typical chihuahuan snacks. This is a good point to make purchases of rarámuris products, such as dresses, shares and other utensils.
After noon we will move to the Divisadero train station to take the Chepe train with the direction of Creel, where when we arrive we will be waiting for us the driver who will take us to our hotel.

We will leave the hotel to Chihuahua, and on the route we will make a couple of essential stops. We will visit the Tarahumaras caves, one of the most peculiar attractions of the region and home of many Tarahumaras. There are few tarahumara caves that can be visited. The largest number of tarahumara caves that you can visit are close to Creel. It is important to consider that the Tarahumara cave is a private space of the rarámuris, therefore it is essential to respect these spaces. Some tarahumaras or rarámuris can run more than 80 kilometers with bare feet. They are one of the most admirable and interesting indigenous communities in the world. We will also see beautiful and interesting natural sites such as the rock formations of the valleys of the frogs, the fungi and the lake of Araco, a beautiful horseshoe -shaped lake located in the town of San Ignacio de Araco.
We will visit the city of Cuauhtémoc that is the gateway to the Sierra Tarahumara, in this city is the largest Mennonite community in Mexico, since around 45 thousand people who belong to this community live here. The Mennonite community in Chihuahua began arriving in the year of 1922. Something very interesting is that the community has its own social system, which includes laws, religion, schools and even its own stores. We will visit a museum that is located in a typical house of the community, where old furniture and work implements used by the community when they arrived in Mexico are preserved. The museum exhibition includes objects of great cultural and historical value for the community such as dolls, strollers, plows, kitchens and typical clothing.
Finally we will arrive at the hotel where we will spend the last night before finishing our trip.
