Mexico City, one of the world's largest metropolitan areas, extends through the Valley of Mexico. Originally the Aztec city of Tenochtitlan was built on the old Texcoco Lake. The arrival of the Spaniards caused the demolition of most structures, but you can still find some channels and ruins of centuries of antiquity. Go to the Historic Center to see a large number of architectural and cultural attractions, including the Plaza de la Constitución, the National Palace, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Palace of Fine Arts and the Park of the Central Alameda. The main attractions, such as Chapultepec Castle, the Museum of Modern Art and the Museum of Anthropology, are located in the Chapultepec Park.

Guadalajara, the second largest city in Mexico, loves visitors with their rich cultural heritage, its vibrant artistic scene and its delicious cuisine. Explore historical monuments, bustling markets and colorful neighborhoods. Immerse yourself in Mariachi's music, try tequila in local distilleries and experience the warmth of Mexican hospitality in this dynamic and charming city.

This colonial city, declared a World Heritage, is famous for its maze of cobbled streets, colorful facades and rich mining history. Guanajuato offers a unique mixture of culture, art and tradition, with emblematic attractions such as the Juarez Theater, the University of Guanajuato and the Kiss Alley. Its vibrant cultural life is reflected in festivals, museums and art galleries, while the delicious local cuisine invites you to enjoy the flavors of the region. A destination that captivates its beauty and singularity.

Located in the Guayangareo Valley, in the state of Michoacán, in central Mexico, Morelia is the capital of the region. The lovely historic center of this city has narrow cobbled alleyways lined with centenary buildings built with the characteristic pink stone of the region. Try the delicious local Mexican cuisine of Morelia, explore its wide selection of architectural attractions without a doubt impressive and attend one of the many world renowned international festivals held annually. Do not miss the famous sweet market in Morelia, the sweet market, a colorful market that offers a variety of delicious sweets and desserts.

Welcome to Mexico! Today our trip begins with the arrival of our international flight to the airport of Mexico City. Upon arrival, a private transfer will be waiting for us at the airport to take us directly to the hotel.

Today we will visit the Historic Center of Mexico City, Madero Pedestrian Street, where the Palace of Fine Arts is located. We will also see the house of the tiles, the house of Iturbide and the Zocalo. From outside, we will observe the National Palace and the City Council, as well as the Temple Mayor and the models that show what the city was like before the arrival of the Spaniards. We will take a tour of Reforma Avenue to see the monuments and visit the Latin Tower.

Then, we will continue our tour of the Basilica of Guadalupe, the most important Catholic sanctuary in America. That was where the appearance of the Virgin took place and to which the Mexicans called her Mrs. of Guadalupe, patron of Mexican Catholics and Latin America.  Millions of pilgrims come to venerate the Virgin throughout the year. The architecture of the modern basilica is very interesting and is the work of the architect Pedro Ramírez Vázquez. At the end of the visit, we will return to our hotel.

Before finishing our trip to the lovely Mexico City we will dedicate this last day to explore the south of the city. After breakfast we will leave in the direction of San Ángel, formerly it was a rural village away from the city, today it is a charming neighborhood of cobbled streets and colonial houses covered with Buganvillas.

We will continue to the Coyoacán neighborhood, also known as its cobbled streets and its remarkable colonial architecture. In this place we will devote a good part of the day since we will visit the Casa Museo de Frida Kahlo and we will have time to take lunch.

Finally we will go to the famous Xochimilco channels, the last remains of the extensive transport system that the Aztecs created. We will make a quiet and spectacular trip through these old houses on a pre -Columbian ship while we learn much more about their history and culture. At the end, we'll return to the hotel to rest our last night before saying goodbye to the city.

Today we go to the airport of Mexico City to take a national flight in the direction of Guadalajara, where when you arrive, we will be waiting for a private vehicle to take us to our hotel, where we will spend the next few days before the festivities of the Day of the Dead.
At night, we will be collected again to go out in the direction of "Casa Baricahi", a place where we can enjoy a delicious food and witness a live music show.

We will discover the historical and architectural wealth of Guadalajara through its most emblematic churches. This guided tour will take us through the heart of the Historic Center, where faith and art are intertwined in magnificent temples that have witnessed the history of the city. We will visit the Cathedral of Guadalajara, the scape temple of the Blessed Sacrament, the sanctuary of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Church of San Francisco, among others.
Note: This day is considered the availability of the vehicle to visit the Cerro del Cuatro on your own during the tour.

After breakfast, they will pick us up at the hotel to start this wonderful adventure towards Lake Chapala, the largest lake in Mexico.
In addition to exploring the lake, we will visit the lovely town of Ajijic, located on the shores of the Lake. Ajijic is especially famous for its vibrant local crafts and the works of art of national and international artists. We will enjoy a day full of culture, impressive landscapes and the warmth of the region.  During the visits, we will have time to have lunch in a charming restaurant overlooking the lake.

After a few days in Guadalajara, we will travel to Guanajuato. The journey between both destinations is approximately 3.5 hours.

In this fascinating tour, we will discover the charms of Guanajuato. We will begin with a visit to the Museum of the Mummies, where we will learn about the history of these fascinating exhibitions. Then, we will descend to a mine that is 60 meters deep, exploring the mining legacy of the region.

We will continue with a tasting of traditional sweets, delighting our palate with local flavors. Subsequently, we will visit the Temple of Valencian, famous for its three gold -laminated altarpieces of 23.5 karats, a jewel of baroque architecture. We will also explore the tunnels and inquisition museums.

We will go out early to discover the indigenous peoples of Michoacán, Capula, Santa Fe de la Laguna and when. Peoples in which the connection with the ancestors is not only a belief, but a living bond that reaffirms on each altar, each sentence and each flower. Michoacán is a state full of history, culture and traditional traditions, famous for its gastronomy, crafts and the celebration of the night of the dead. Among its most authentic destinations is Capula, cradle of iconic mud catrins, where you can visit pottery workshops and admire your popular art.

In Santa Fe de la Laguna, a Purépecha town that inspired the film Coco, ancestral customs are preserved, reflected in its adobe architecture and traditional cuisine. For its part, when it stands out for its mastery in the size of wood, with unique furniture and crafts. These peoples offer an immersion in the cultural wealth of Michoacán.

Today we will immerse ourselves in the very essence of the Day of the Dead, towards Pátzcuaro. We venture to explore a pantheon, a silent witness of the meticulous preparation that precedes the holiday. Then, we go into the heart of Pátzcuaro, where the main square receives us with open arms, offering us a visual feast of color and life. Among the bustling stalls of the market, we marvel at the handicrafts that tell ancestral stories and let ourselves be seduced by the drilling aroma of the dead bread that permeates the air. Every corner of the city is impregnated with the reverence to the day of the dead, with altars that revere the memory of loved ones and decorations that illuminate the night with their magic. At the end of the afternoon, we will return in the direction of our hotel in Morelia.

We will get up early to venture to enjoy the Day of the Dead in Michoacán. We will leave towards the enigmatic Isla de Janitzio, a magical place where time seems to stop between the colorful streets and the house that rise with pride before the blue of the lake. Upon returning from the island, we will go to the Tzintzuntzan pantheon, whose paths illuminate with the light of the candles and the glow of the altars. During the visits, we will have time to take lunch at a local restaurant, and we will return to Guanajuato in the afternoon.
